We work closely with the coast guard every day. If the local Indonesian authorities do not allow us to go to Nusa Penida due to bad weather or sea conditions, you will be offered either an alternative date or a full refund/voucher for your booking.

However, if it is only lightly raining at the time of departure and we have received permission from the local authorities to sail, the trip will proceed as planned, and no refund or voucher will be issued.

Hotel pick-up and drop-off are not included, but we can arrange transportation as an extra service. Payment is made in cash directly to the driver on the day of the trip. The price is calculated per car, per way, and depends on your hotel’s location. Each car can accommodate up to 6 guests. Prices start from IDR 150,000 per car, per way.

There isn’t a specific season to swim with manta rays in Nusa Penida. They are present year-round. Nusa Penida is the only place in Bali where you can experience the opportunity to swim with manta rays. These majestic creatures, from 5 to 8 meters, glide gracefully through the waters around Manta Point or Manta Bay.

However, it’s important to remember that manta rays are wild animals, and while they are commonly found in this area year-round, sightings cannot be guaranteed. Our team will do everything possible to take you to the best spots, but nature’s unpredictability is part of the adventure.

All children are welcome on board. We provide equipment suitable for all ages, including snorkeling gear and life jackets. However, please note that children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Be aware that our insurance does not cover participants under 6 years old, and conditions at sea can sometimes be choppy, especially during snorkeling and boat rides. We recommend contacting us in advance so we can advise you accordingly.

Please note that our insurance coverage has limitations for individuals over 69 years old and under 6 years old. We recommend this tour for guests who are in good health and physical condition. Parents are encouraged to use their discretion when deciding if this experience is suitable for their children.

The tour is not for travelers with back problems, pregnant travelers, those with heart issues or other serious medical conditions, or individuals over 69 and under 6 years old. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities.

Life jackets are provided for all guests and must be worn during the trip (on board and on the water) for safety reasons.

The tour is not recommended for non-swimmers. The manta area can be choppy. While snorkeling is generally recommended for those who are confident in the water, non-swimmers can still participate under certain conditions : if the water is calm and if there are no strong currents.

Our previous guests who cannot swim have had a positive and safe experience with us by following the guides instructions and staying close to the support equipment. Our guides are experienced and will be in the water with you at all times to assist. Life jackets are mandatory for everyone, and we also have a life buoy that you can hold onto during the snorkeling.

While snorkeling, our guide will have a GoPro and take underwater photos and videos of the group. At the end of the day, we will send you a Google Drive link with all the content.

If you wish, it is also possible to book a professional underwater photographer as an extra. This option is available only for our private trips at a cost of IDR 2,500,000, which includes 15 edited photos and all the content on a Google Drive link.

We advise keeping valuables such as passports and important personal documents at your hotel. If you are in transit from a hotel, we can securely store your luggage at the meeting point.

Snorkeling equipment, water, and towels are provided on board.

We recommend bringing reef-safe sunscreen, swimwear, sunglasses, a rash guard, a sun hat or cap, comfortable shoes or flip-flops, and some cash for extra expenses (such as alcohol, tips, or public toilets).

You are welcome to bring alcohol and drinks on board, within reasonable limits.

If you prefer, our team can purchase the drinks for you 24 hours before departure. Payment for the drinks can be made before the trip, either by cash or by card (please note there is a 3% surcharge for card payments).

If the drinks are not fully consumed by the end of the day, you may take the remaining bottles with you.

In addition, our guides are certified by BNSP (Indonesia’s National Professional Certification Agency), meeting nationally recognized standards for professionalism and competence.

• A professional drone pilot can be arranged for IDR 2,000,000, allowing you to capture stunning aerial footage of your trip.
• If you would like high-quality photos, we can organize a professional photographer for IDR 1,500,000, or an underwater professional photographer for IDR 2,500,000 per day to capture your experience beneath the surface.
• Hotel pick-up and drop-off can also be arranged as an extra service, with prices starting from IDR 150,000 per car, per way, depending on your location. Each car can accommodate up to 6 guests.
